Today’s post is one full of acronyms! Sorry for the serious lack of posts lately. I just haven’t been feeling too grand and blogging has been the last thing I’ve wanted to do!
I was going through the latest updates from the Women’s Guild of Oman (WGO) and noticed a couple of ads I thought might interest everyone. By the way, if you are a woman and live in Oman and haven’t joined this group of lovely ladies (you can even join online!) yet then you are crazy. Not only do you have an instant connection with other women both local and expatriate (so they know what you are going through when you want to cry about the lack of decent gluten-free food anywhere!), but they have regular events, special offers for members and fabulous discounts that get you money off everything from food and drink, spa treatments, art work, nights at a hotel, books and so much more.
Membership costs just RO10 a year and runs from September 2011 to September 2012, but if you joined now you would still get your money’s worth in a couple of shops! To give you an idea of how good the discounts are, I get my haircut in quite an expat popular salon in Muscat and saved RO15 off my usual price so the card paid for itself in just one visit!
