Firstly a big apology for being very rubbish at posting lately. I seem to have been struck with writer’s block because I just can’t get excited enough about anything to write about it! Inspiration struck this morning though so fingers crossed there should be a fun rant coming your way soon ;)
In other (rather late!) news, The Script are playing in Muscat tomorrow (November 16, 2011) at the InterContinental Hotel gardens. I already have my tickets and looking forward to having a chill out in this lovely weather! Also I want to have a slight whine at those who keep complaining that nothing ever happens in Muscat or their favourite performers aren’t being bought over. First things first, yes, I would rather see Muse, Foo Fighters or Adele, BUT I realise they won’t come somewhere like here until a decent fan base that is willing to buy tickets is established. I have been really amused by some of the acts that have been bought over here, but have still gone to probably 60-70 per cent of them because I understand that support and encouragement needs to be there.
So stop whinging and get out and support these types of events so they can get bigger and better. Or at least that is what I hope will happen! Rant over J
