First it was books, now it is DVDs… looks like everyone is trying to shift their excess stuff these days. Perhaps Spring cleaning only hits Oman towards the end of Ramadan?
I spotted on Facebook this morning that Movie Time DVD shop in Al Masa Mall are having a mega clearance sale starting from today and running until September 20. As part of the sale, the store will be selling off mainly region 1 DVDs that they either no longer want or have extra copies of. The DVDs are priced at either RO2 or RO3 each and they are also doing a special offer where if you buy five movies you get one free, or if you buy ten movies you get three free! Not bad eh!As said, the sale starts today and the shops Ramadan timings are 7.30pm to midnight, while they will be closed on the first day of Eid. From the second day of Eid they will be open from 5pm-10pm so why not go and see if you can beef up that sorry looking DVD collection?
Out of curiosity, what plans does everyone have for Eid? I think I am going to be stuck at home thanks to penny pinching at the moment :(

ReplyDeleteWe'll be mostly staying at home during Eid as well. That's the problem with having Eid holiday after a long (expensive) vacation. :-)
